Brand New frontman Jesse Lacey has announced summer dates for a solo tour with Kevin Devine. They did a similar tour together this time last year focusing on the East Coast.

To the consternation of many fans, this year's dates concentrate on the Midwest and West Coast. However, last year, more dates were added as the tour progressed, so there may be some hope yet.



Last year's set list consisted of many of Brand New's unreleased and rare songs, as well as covers of Neutral Milk Hotel and others. A few dates even featured impromptu Q&As with Lacey.

Tickets for some dates go on sale to the general public on Thursday. You can also buy tickets through the presale here starting today at 1 p.m. local time for the show location. Brand New fans should also take note of the band's performance at this summer's Lollapalooza, happening August 1-3 at Chicago's Grant Park.
